Upcoming Training — Our Family In Two Homes webinar with Jacinta Gallant

CPNSW Training Webinar
Bringing Our Family in Two Homes to Collaborative Practice
August 24, 2023 – 9:00 – 11:00 am

Collaborative Practitioners commit to deep and ongoing training so we can do excellent work helping families. But what about the clients? Have we created enough opportunities to prepare them to participate in a process that demands so much of them?

Jacinta Gallant’s study of curiosity and insight led her to develop Our Family in Two Homes: Client Preparation Tools that facilitate client learning (at a time they often have tunnel vision) and their ability to engage in dialogue, rather than debate. In this workshop, Jacinta will explain how CPNSW members can use the Our Family in Two Homes resources in our CP Cases:

  • to build in efficiencies so we can provide the highest level of value
  • to help clients be self-aware and more open to the conversations that matter
  • to give the Professional Team a common framework for our work and our internal communications
  • to support our Coaches in their communication, conflict and parenting work
  • to enhance the role of the lawyers – balancing legal information and advice with a client-centred process
  • to give tools to our Financial Professionals to manage the conflict dynamic they see in the “money conversations”

Sign up by August 10th with the link below, so you can be prepared to engage in this webinar. You will receive a complimentary sample of the Our Family in Two Homes Workbook prior to the event. Jacinta will then lead us in a training on how to integrate each of the Two Homes Client Preparation Tools into our CPNSW cases.
