Common questions from professionals considering training
The minimum requirement is 2 days (14 hours). Most introductory training programs are run over 2–3 days.
Training costs vary by provider and format. Scholarship funding is available for eligible applicants through the CP (NSW/ACT) Abrams Scholarship. See our Professional Development page for details.
Many experienced collaborative professionals welcome observers at appropriate stages. Contact a CP (NSW/ACT) member or the committee to ask about shadowing or minute-taking opportunities as a way to learn the process before completing formal training.
Once you have completed your training, you can apply for joint CP (NSW/ACT) and AACP membership. See the Join CP (NSW/ACT) page for the step-by-step process.
