Professional Development & Opportunities
CP (NSW/ACT) is committed to supporting the growth and skills of collaborative professionals in NSW — both those who are just starting out and those who want to deepen their expertise. Here is what is available.
The Abrams Scholarship
The Abrams Scholarship was established by CP (NSW/ACT) in 2021 to acknowledge the work of past CP (NSW/ACT) President Sue Abrams, who spent over a decade promoting and developing interdisciplinary collaborative practice in NSW. It reflects CP (NSW/ACT)’s commitment to helping the collaborative community grow by supporting members and future members to engage in training.
What the scholarship provides:
Two scholarships are offered annually. Each recipient receives funding to the value of $1,450, which may be used to:
- Undertake collaborative practice training that satisfies Membership Eligibility Requirements, or to undertake advanced training in collaborative practice
- Meet the annual joint CP (NSW/ACT)/AACP membership fee for one year
Eligibility:
- Applicants must reside in NSW or demonstrate a significant connection to NSW
- Applications are considered by the CP (NSW/ACT) Board and announced annually
