Join CP (NSW/ACT)
Joining CP (NSW/ACT) connects you to the NSW collaborative community and gives you access to the resources, events, and professional relationships that make collaborative practice sustainable and rewarding. Membership is integrated with the national AACP, so one annual payment covers both.

- Listing in the national AACP Find a Professional directory, filtered to NSW — so clients searching for a NSW collaborative professional can find you
- Access to CP (NSW/ACT) member-only resources: precedents, templates, practice tips, and guidelines developed by and for NSW practitioners
- Invitations to CP (NSW/ACT) events: CPD sessions, practice group meetings, networking events, and the annual main event
- Access to national AACP resources, events, and national practice group meetings
- Professional development opportunities including the Abrams Scholarship, mentoring, and minute-taking connections
- A community of like-minded interdisciplinary professionals across NSW to work alongside and refer to
- A voice in the governance of collaborative practice in NSW through the elected board structure
Membership fees
CP (NSW/ACT) membership is integrated with AACP — you join both organisations simultaneously through the AACP website.

Memberships run 1 July to 30 June and are not offered on a pro-rata basis. Fees are set by AACP and may change — confirm current fees on the AACP website.
How to join — step by step
- Download and review the CP (NSW/ACT) eligibility criteria to confirm you meet the membership requirements.
- Complete recognised collaborative practice training (minimum 14 hours). See our Training Pathways page for options.
- Go to the AACP membership application page (link below) and complete the online application form. When selecting your membership type, choose ‘AACP + CP(NSW) Membership — Individual‘.
- Your application will be reviewed by the AACP membership board. You will be notified when approved, at which point you can log in and pay your membership fee.
- Once your membership is active, your profile will be listed in the national Find a Professional directory. Welcome to the CP (NSW/ACT) community.
